Decatur Facility Expansion (2017)

Decatur, Illinois

Client: Akorn Pharmaceutical

Senior Project Controls Specialist for this 55,000 square foot expansion to an existing facility ($25 million design-build). Responsibilities included, developing and maintaining Primavera P6 project resource loaded schedules, coordinate with members of the project team to create and maintain project cash flows, forecasts, status and profitability reports.

Midway International Airport Consolidated Rental Car Facility (2017-2016)

MDW, Chicago, Illinois

Client: Chicago Department of Aviation

Program Controls Manager on the $81 million program for the construction of the Consolidated Rental Car Facility at Midway International Airport.  Responsibilities included the management of program costs, which include design, construction, and reimbursement agreements with the Midway Rental Car Agency Consortium (RAC).

Air Traffic Controls Tower Facility Renovation Project (2015)

Green Bay, WI

Client: Federal Aviation Administration

Project Manager for a 3-story, 6K+ sq. ft. facility with project valued at $500K. Responsibilities included developing the capital programs, policies and procedures, as well as to provide design management review, enforce quality and safety, and deliver complete construction management services, including budget development and management, schedule development and management, construction oversight, procurement and reporting.

Chicago Airport Residential Sound Insulation Program (2014-2013)

O’Hare International Airport, Chicago, Illinois

Client: Federal Aviation Administration

Project Manager on $80M annual contracts aimed at decreasing indoor noise pollution for 2500 to 3000 buildings to provide noise remediation for residents living near both O’Hare and Midway Airports. Known as the Residential Sound Insulation Program (RSIP), this program provides sound-reducing modifications in the homes of affected residents, such as replacing existing windows and doors with acoustical products. Involvement with the RSIP, from home identification through construction close-out, in accordance with the Illinois Department of Transportation Standards.  Responsibilities included, Oversight of all aspects of implementation and management, Development of program scope, Budget development, Schedule management and construction oversight, Creation of all handbooks, bid packages, general conditions, and construction management manuals.

Farmington High School Demolition and Remodeling Project (2010)

Farmington, MN

Client: City of Farmington

Project Manager on managing all project aspects for $700K building renovation and construction project for a high school building, designing 8.4K sq. ft. facility and completing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) details.  

 

Gap, Inc Projects (2008-2007)

Chicago, Illinois

Client: GAP

Associate Architect on Gap, Inc projects ranging from $500K to $2.5M.  Developed, fabricated, and evaluated prototypes and becoming familiar with various standards and codes such as ANSI, PFI, and ASME.  Prepared engineering data, schedules, and planning studies to assist the project.
